How it all began

I thought I had the dream job. Art directing at a top agency, photographing celebrities, traveling the world for incredible projects.

Then I had my baby girl, and everything changed. I took two years off as a new single mom and realized nothing mattered but her, human connection, and living a life I could be proud of.

Those years gave me a deep respect for mothers. The dedication, the sacrifice, the invisible work of loving someone 24/7 and the daily fear that comes with being a mom and protector. I knew exactly where my lens belonged: on mothers and their loved ones.

But for so many Moms, we get in our own way. My own mother said for years that she didnt want to be in our photographs, she would grab the phone to take pictures of everyone else and remained behind the lens for most of my life unless it was pried out of her hands and she was forced into the picture. Always the one behind the lens for moments she was completely present for, but moments she was rarely in.

I heard her reasons for decades. The same ones and I watched her erase herself from her own story, from our story, over and over again. A habit she couldn't break and I couldn't fix.

I struggle to find photographs of my mother and me together. And it breaks my heart.

So when I finally turned my lens toward mothers and their little ones, I understood something most photographers don't: the real obstacle isn't lighting or location or getting the kids to cooperate. It's the voice in her head that has been telling her for years that she isn't ready, isn't enough, isn't worth the fuss.

I know that voice. I grew up watching someone I love listen to it.

Dear Mom is my answer to it.

You deserve to be seen, celebrated, and remembered exactly as you are.

My gift to you is your most precious moments, held forever.

Let's make up for lost photos and lost time.

My privacy promise to you

As mothers, we know the world can feel like a scary place. Our children are precious, and we are their guardians. As a fierce mama myself, I take that role seriously, both for my little one and for yours.

Your family's privacy is always in your hands. You choose, how your photos are stored, how they are delivered, what is shared and what stays just for you, and I will honour that choice. Consider me a friend, an ally, and a fellow guardian. Let's talk about the many options I have to create a safe space for you and your little one.

We deserve to feel safe everywhere!

Kind Words from my clients

Yvonne, you already know that there is no one who can capture what my soul sees quite the way you do. I trust you with my vision, and each time you create magic that surpasses my expectations. I thank you for being the perfect dose of magic that my fairytale requires. I love you and appreciate you beyond this realm!
